In 5th grade, Cedar Point students are introduced to string instruments (violin, viola, cello, bass) and are invited to join our Strings program, led by Mr. Sam Runolfson. Strings students practice during school twice a week and have several opportunities to perform throughout the school year, including a winter show for our kindergarten classes and at a local public library.

Our Strings students will also be performing in three additional concerts for the 2024-25 school year.

• Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2025 - Pyramid Concert at Patriot H.S. at 7 p.m.
• Wednesday, Mar. 26, 2025 - Strings Concert/Art Show at Cedar Point E.S. at 6:30 p.m. (6 p.m. call time for strings students)
• Thursday, May 29, 2025 - Strings Concert at Cedar Point E.S. at 6:30 p.m. (6 p.m. call time for strings students)
