About Cedar Point Elementary School

mascotCedar Point first opened its doors on Tuesday, September 4, 2001. It was officially dedicated on May 3, 2002.

Cedar Point currently serves the following subdivisions in the Bristow area: Ashley Ridge, Braemar, Middlebrook, Saybrooke.

Enrichment & Special Programs

school library

Cedar Point offers a wonderful after-school enrichment program sponsored by the PTO and Advisory Council. Foreign language, sign language, scrap-booking, drama, music, and art are just a few of the unique programs available for interested students.

During the school day, students participate in a wide variety of "Encore" programs - art, music, physical education, drama, library and guidance. Cheetah Vision, our daily morning television broadcast, brings school news into each classroom. The televised program gives students an opportunity to produce a live television broadcast each day, with active roles in front of the camera and behind the scenes.

In 2004, our students participated in the "Students in Space" program sponsored by NASA. Our students' signatures will be flown aboard a future Space Shuttle mission! We were also visited by Dr. Al Sacco, a NASA astronaut, during Space Week last spring.
